Acacia Academics has been a long-standing ministry of Alliance Bible Church since 2009. For 15 years, Acacia Academics has provided thousands of volunteer hours to hundreds of students from Ozaukee County, Washington County, and other neighboring areas by providing free academic support, career readiness, and life mentoring opportunities.
The acacia tree has been used for various purposes throughout history. But its use for public gatherings to teach and share stories among communities is what makes this tree significant to us. Our vision is “Helping students grow in academics and character,” and we accomplish this by providing free mentoring to middle and high school students. Our program seeks to create a ripple effect of service within our community by providing opportunities for students, families and individuals to make an impact.
At Acacia Academics, we endeavor to:
- Demonstrate, through our words and actions, God’s love and our faith in Jesus Christ.
- Develop students in the areas of academics, career/life readiness, and character growth.
- Promote confidence in one’s ability to positively impact others.
- Come alongside parents, teachers, and students in the shared mission of working toward academic excellence.
